My friend Robby and I were suppose to be fishing the New River, but due to the flooding in North Carolina and Virginia the river is to high. I decided Sunday to fish the Private lake I fish with Robby. The weather was beautiful but the fishing was allot harder than I expected. The fish were scattered and we had a hard time keeping them hooked. The only thing I can contribute to the hard fishing was the cool weather and the change. We caught all our fish on crankbaits. Some were shallow and some were as deep as 5 feet. We ended the day with about 50 bass. The attached photo is Robby with his biggest fish. Monday we are going to fish Taylorsville Lake. till the next report hope to see you on the water.
